Article 15 passes at Sandwich Town Meeting

Town Meeting is Monday, May 2

Just a reminder that Town Meeting is Monday, May 2nd, 7 pm at Sandwich High School. The South Sandwich Library Project is ARTICLE 15 on the warrant. Voters will be asked to approve the design and accept the grant if awarded in July. A YES vote on ARTICLE 15 will cost the town ZERO DOLLARS.

Thank you to those of you who signed the petition to present the library project to Sandwich voters at a Special Town meeting. Over 350 Sandwich voters signed the petition which has been submitted to the Board of Selectmen. It is our hope that the Special Town Meeting will be held within the annual Town Meeting on Monday, May 2nd at 7 pm at Sandwich High School. We will be asking voters to accept the design and to authorize acceptance of the grant from the Public Library Construction Grant Program administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
